You will coordinate customer service requests, from initiation to service completion by scheduling and dispatching technicians and helping to ensure technical service work is completed on time and according to customer expectations. Assesses team performance and makes adjustments as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.


Responsibilities:

- Generate purchase orders while acting as liaison between company and suppliers.

- Monitor, track and report on supplier compliance to delivery due dates, identify risks to late delivery, handle escalations with suppliers according to JCI procedure.

- Meet with new and existing vendors to discuss existing business, potential for new business, supply issues and cost reduction opportunities.

- Supports activities from department to ensure customer delivery on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, Inventory DOH and transportation execution are met while maximizing quality and minimizing cost.

- Address invoice discrepancies

- Support Plant Manager on projects and day-to-day activities involving the materials supply

- Assist with compiling monthly Supply reports.

- Create and maintain detailed vendor/supplier information regarding contact, account numbers and order avenues.

- Be a proactive contributor to help with process improvement and cost reduction.

- Support planning activities for designated product line(s).

- Manage key projects as assigned.


Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM


Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required.

- Any Oracle MRP or ERP experience is a plus.

- Able to communicate clearly and promptly to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.

- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and hold others accountable.

- Able to balance the needs of the organization with the needs of the customer.

- Can monitor and analyze progress to make and/or recommend changes as required.

- Ability to utilize reasoning and planning to understand a problem situation and implement corrective actions.
